Greetings from Ellendale, Firstly, thanks to Cowboy Bob and Parker Anderson and Kelly B. and Kevin Kevin and Johnny Horton and everybody else for a great open mic last night. We're gonna try changing it to Wednesday night starting next week so come on out to Errol's and have a hump night party. Beer, full menu, BYOB, map here. The fun starts at 7:00 so come early if it's a school night . . . This Friday come on down and kick in the weekend at Kudzu's. The party starts at 8 and we'll be celebrating Lemuria a feast during which the ancient Romans performed rites to exorcise the malevolent and fearful ghosts of the dead from their homes. The unwholesome spectres of the restless dead, the lemures were propitiated with offerings of beans. Not quite sure how that works but I'm getting a vision of Blazing Saddles crossed with Ben Hur . . . Then Sunday, Sunday, Sunday is Mother's Day so come on out to Celtic Crossing and join us on the patio for some nice Irish Brunch, bloody mary specials all day and enough of the auld Irish tunes to make Mother McRee weep in her Guinness. Brunch from 11am, we start the music at 1pm. Craic go leor . . . Oh yeah, almost forgot to thank Trent and everyone for a most stupendous gig last Saturday out at Cactus Bar and Grill. What a party!!! Anyway, hope to see you all this week and in the meantime . . . |
